Interwiki links are mainly used in the OpenOffice.org Wiki to link between different language translations of Wiki pages. You see this on pages such as the Wiki Main Page where there is an In other languages box in the left navigation bar.

Linking between languages is fairly simple and is generally done using this syntax

  [[iso_lang_code:Wiki_page_name]]
 

For example, the syntax to link the English Main Page to the French Main Page on the OpenOffice.org Wiki looks like this:

 [[fr:FR]]
 

where 'fr is the ISO language code for French, and the French Main Page is called FR.

If a language is not available in the InterWiki linking, send an email to dev@website.openoffice.org and request the new language be added.
