## COT

Returns the cotangent of the given angle (in radians).

### Syntax:

**COT(angle)**

- returns the (trigonometric) cotangent of
, the angle in radians.**angle**

- To return the cotangent of an angle in degrees, use the
function.**RADIANS**

- The cotangent of an angle is equivalent to 1 divided by the tangent of that angle.

### Example:

**COT(PI()/4)**

- returns

**COT(RADIANS(45))**

- returns
