Abstract

Title

Cross-Platform Language Packs

Description

Currently language packs are built specifically for each platform. This means that there is more QA, space/bandwidth required on the mirrors and more time to create the packs. Also some platforms currently are unable to use language packs and require full install sets. Cross-platform language packs will reduce the bandwidth and space requirements on the mirror network. Also as they will only need to be created once for all platforms, instead of once for each platform, developer time will be freed up so that they can work on other things.
