When we ship an example database with Apache OpenOffice, it will show people how to solve problems which they might encounter frequently during developing a database/application.

It would be helpful to explain the solutions to those problems in the online help. That is, there should be a help topic listing the common tasks, and explaining how they are solved in the example database.

Ideally, the example database itself could link to the proper help topics. For instance, if there is a button in a form, which opens another form (which certainly is a common task), then there could be some "How do I do this" (or so) button (or other mechanism), which leads the user directly to the respective online help topic.
