This page explains how to import a glossary and work with it in Pootle.


Get a glossary to Pootle

There are two ways to get a glossary:

  • From SunGloss
  • From Community's own glossary

From SunGloss

  • Community requests to export TM(Translation Memory) from SunGloss.
  • Pootle admin exports TM(tmx format) and upload it to Pootle.

From Community's own glossary

Upload the glosasary to Pootle

Language lead sends a request to Pootle administrator (Aijin.Kim@Sun.COM) to upload a glossary for the native language.


Work with Glossary
