TAN
Returns the tangent of the given angle (in radians).
Syntax:
TAN(angle)
- returns the (trigonometric) tangent of angle, the angle in radians.
- To return the tangent of an angle in degrees, use the RADIANS function.
Example:
TAN(PI()/4)
- returns 1, the tangent of PI/4 radians.
TAN(RADIANS(45))
- returns 1, the tangent of 45 degrees.
