Feature Description

Inserting Audio and Video in Impress

The following options are currently available to use sound or video files in an impress document.

Menu Insert/Movie and Sound

Opens a dialog to select a media file. On "Open" a new media shape is inserted in the current slide with a link to the selected media file.

Menu Insert/Object/Sound

Opens a dialog to select any file. On "Open" a ole2 shape is inserted that links to the selected file. This is a deprected way to insert a media file and should be removed.

Toolbar Media Playback/Movie and Sound

Same as "Menu Insert/Movie and Sound"

Tasks/Custom Animation/Effect Options/Effect/Sound
