Nice to know that there are multiple SQL Dialects, but where to find the Documentation of that SDBC SQL Dialect you currently need? E.G. for executing commands against a Calc Based SDBC connection. It would be a good Idea to provide Documentation for that and in case it exists, to link it from the Article.
The Best practice I could gain until today is to create an according Test-Database with Base and use the SQL Query designer there. It provides more Error Information then the Execute Command within the OOo Basic IDE.
