ISNONTEXT
Tests if a cell contains no text.
Syntax:
ISNONTEXT(value)
- Returns TRUE unless value is or refers to text, in which case it returns FALSE.
- ISNONTEXT(value) is equivalent to NOT(ISTEXT(value)).
Example:
ISNONTEXT(123)
- returns TRUE.
ISNONTEXT(C2)
- where cell C2 contains cat, returns FALSE.
ISNONTEXT(C3)
- where cell C3 contains =1/0, returns TRUE, because =1/0 returns an error value, not text.
ISNONTEXT(C4)
- where C4 is an empty cell, returns TRUE (an empty cell contains no text).
